Yoredale: The traditional name for Wensleydale
The Society, founded in 1979, has the aim of "promoting an interest in and an appreciation of natural history, with particular reference to Wensleydale"
Our Society has over one hundred members , hosting around 15 field trips a year to local wildlife hotspots. YNHS has an informative lecture programme and produces an annual 40-page Member’s Bulletin.
