Children aged under 16 are welcomed on our field trips, but to help comply with out child protection policy they must be accompanied by a parent or authorised adult

Park outside Bolton Hall gates or over the bridge (towards Hawes)

Spring flowers, maybe Yellow Star of Bethlehem

3 miles - mainly easy walking

Scorton Quarry

Meet at 10 am

Start from carpark at SE 242 995 on B6271 between Bromton-on-Swale  and Scorton

Sand and gravel quarry gradually returning to nature.

3 miles easy walking.

Full day - bring packed lunch.

Joint meeting with Keld Countryside and Heritage Centre and the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust event

10.45 for 11am registration. Bring packed lunch

A National Trust Ranger will host this visit

3 miles, some steep climbs, rough tracks and a descent of 230 Hudswell steps
